HP offers a snapshot of what it means to reinvent the classroom for future learning. Watch this introductory video for more.
Reinvent the Classroom is a global initiative between HP and Microsoft, whose aim is to inspire, create and design next-generation learning experiences by leveraging HP technology and Microsoft solutions.
The Learning Studios, part of the Reinvent the Classroom initiative, is a network of learning spaces around the world, equipped with powerful, cutting-edge technology designed for creation and collaboration. Managed by Digital Promise Global, this is a non-profit organisation that seeks to improve the opportunity to learn through technology and research.
Currently, Digital Promise Global manages up to 60 schools internationally whereby students in a Learning Studio environment will leverage powerful technology to engage in activities and projects – exposing them to creative skills and concepts such as design thinking, 3-D design and social entrepreneurship.
Case Study: Northcote College
This forward-looking, 140-year old institution, has a dedicated Learning Studio enabled by HP and Microsoft, which allows senior students to take control of their own learning, by exploring real-world scenarios and applying digital skills to subjects with their own learning style, and at their own pace.
